Contigo Cuban Weekend

The first weekend of September we invite you to Contigo Cuban Weekend in Møllergata. You will meet both international and local instructors.

From Friday to Sunday there are workshops in Cuban salsa, timba, rumba, Afro-Cuban dance and merengue, and social dancing every day.

All workshops take place in Studio Havana.

Friday 4 September

• 17:30 – 22:00 Entry wristband pickup
• 18:00 – 19:00 Merengue with Johan
• 19:00 – 22:00 Social dancing, “White party”

Saturday 5 September

• 09:30 – 16:00 Entry wristband pickup
• 10:00 – 11:00 Timba musicality with Jennifer and Jorge
• 11:15 – 12:15 Timba for couples with Jennifer and Jorge
• 12:30 – 13:30 Lunch break
• 13:30 – 14:30 Rumba guaguancó with Imelxis
• 14:30 – 15:30 Rumba columbia with Imelxis
• 15:45 – 16:45 Orichas Yemayá with Imelxis
• 20:00 – 21:00 Timba solo with Jorge
• 21:00 – 01:00 Social dancing, “Dress to impress”

Sunday 6 September

• 11:00 – 12:00 Afro-Cuban footwork with Johan
• 12:15 – 13:15 Cuban surprise workshop with Johan
• 13:30 – 14:30 Cuban salsa for couples with Jennifer and Jorge
• 14:30 – 17:30 Social dancing

Practical

• When: Friday 04.09 – Sunday 06.09.2026
• Where: Møllergata 9, Oslo
• Price: 1500 kr for the whole weekend
• Registration: via Letsreg
• Wristband: pick yours up at the reception on the top floor
• Shoes: bring indoor shoes or dance shoes, outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studios
• Dance shoes: House of Heels have a stand in the venue on Friday
