Data controller

Flaskepost AS (org. no. 823 128 312), which runs Contigo Danseskole (Møllergata 9, 3. etasje, 0179 Oslo), is the data controller for the personal data collected via this website. Contact: kontakt@contigodans.no.

We use Letsreg (registration and payment) and Cloudflare (website hosting) as data processors.

What information we collect

When you send a studio rental enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.

Registration and payment

When you register for a course, both the registration and the payment take place at Letsreg. There you provide your name, email, phone number and which course it concerns, and pay by card or Vipps. We use this information to manage your registration and your place (the basis is our agreement with you). The payment itself is handled by Letsreg, and your card details are not stored by us. Letsreg processes the information on our behalf. You can read more in their privacy policy.

Email to previous participants

If you have taken a course with us, we occasionally send you email about new registrations and events at the school, for example an invitation to the summer or New Year party (the basis is your customer relationship with us). There will be few emails, and you can unsubscribe in every one. Messages about courses you are registered for, for example a cancelled evening, are sent regardless of this.

Photos and video

At classes and events we occasionally take photos and film for the website and social media, to show the atmosphere at the school (our legitimate interest). These are situational images, not close-ups of individuals. If you would rather not appear, tell an instructor and we will keep you out of them. If we want to use a photo or video where you are clearly the main subject, we will ask you first.

Storage and deletion

We keep enquiries for as long as necessary to follow up, and delete them afterwards.

Registration and payment information that forms part of our accounts (which course, amount and date) is kept for five years, as required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.

We also keep a record of which courses you have taken with us, so we recognise returning participants and can tailor level and offerings. We keep your name and contact details while you are active and for three years after your last registration. After that we anonymise the history, so we can keep an overview of courses and attendance without it being linked to you.

The registration information is stored at Letsreg. The website runs on Cloudflare, which may process data in the USA on a lawful transfer basis.

You can request deletion at any time, but information we are legally required to keep (accounts) cannot be deleted before the deadline.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies of its own. For visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which neither uses cookies nor collects personal data. Registration and payment take place at Letsreg, which sets its own cookies there.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can also ask us to restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
