In autumn 2026 Contigo is starting its first show team. A fixed group rehearses a choreography in Cuban salsa, with a show as the goal.
Who is it for?
The show team is for you if you want a clear goal to train towards and would like to perform and develop your dance skills. Anyone at or near the level the choreography requires can join.
Six months, one choreography
The show team rehearses a choreography in Cuban salsa, mostly partnerwork, and works towards a show at the end of the six months. Along the way you develop as a dancer: what is difficult in the early weeks eventually falls into place, and then you no longer have to think about the steps and can put more into the dancing itself. More about the show will follow nearer the time. In autumn 2026 Jennifer Lopez Schotes and Lars Erik Wik are responsible for the choreography and the teaching. The instructor in charge can change from one choreography to the next.
What does it involve?
The team consists of 6 to 12 couples and trains for one hour a week at a fixed time. We need roughly the same number of leaders and followers, so one role can fill up before the other. You will find the day and time on the schedule. You commit for six months at a time, and alongside the team training you attend at least one solo course with us. The price is the same as for a regular course. If you have a Full pass, the show team costs 500 kr extra. Costumes for the show are extra and each dancer covers their own.
